A battling first half from Vale saw New Oak leading by a solitary goal which gave the home side heart for the second half, but despite battling performances from Sean Foley & Brendan Byrne in midfield, the game ran away from the home side.
A lovely passing move saw Shaun Sibanda played in on goal but he pulled his shot agonisingly wide of the far post and the chance for an equaliser was gone.
Vale struggled to string passes together and New Oak made their possession count, grabbing another 2 goals in quick succession.
With the match at 0-3, an injury to Sean Foley saw a reshuffle in the Vale midfield but they lost their shape and conceded 3 more without reply.
Vale will look back at the first 40 minutes of the match and try to build on that moving forward.
Best for Vale were Brendan Byrne, Seán Foley, Shaun Sibanda and Joey Drea.
