Hanover took all three points after a good performance against a strong Ballymurphy team in The Plots on Saturday morning. The home team were in front inside ten minutes when Dermot Lawlor struck high across the keeper into the top corner after cutting in from the wing.Ballymurphy were looking for the ball inside the defence and Ewan Breen in the home goal had to be alert on several occasions. The home team doubled their advantage when a Lawlor cross was met by Sean Hayden and his header left the keeper helpless.

Ballymurphy were unlucky when a Hanover defender cleared off the line and on the break the home team won a free kick just inside the opposition half.Bailee Cooney delivered an inch perfect ball onto the boot of Sam McHugh who finished on the volley from six yards.Half time 3-0 to the home team. The second half saw Hanover dominant most of the time but Ballymurphy still forced Ewan Breen into a couple of smart saves.Aaron Cunningham Burke hit the post before forcing one over the line to kill off the game midway through the half.Jason Dillon, Darragh Redmond and Daire Byrne were unlucky not to get on the score sheet as the game finished 4-0.Cody Molloy, Jack Woods,Ewan Breen and the excellent Dara Nolan were best for the home side.A good team performance from Ballymurphy.

A very good game in the plots today as Hanover faced off against burrin. Five minutes into the first half there was a scramble in burrins box in which Gael o rock took it on his right foot and slotted home for a 1-0 Lead. After that the game seem to faze out with both teams having equal chances. On the 20 minute Jake Burke was took down in burrins box and gave Hanover a penalty in which axel o rock took but it hit the crossbar. Few minutes to halftime Leon Fitzgerald put a ball threw to Jake Burke who slotted home 2-0.

Halftime 2-0

Hanover started the second half well in which saw Jake Burke get another threw ball and made no mistake and put it in the back of the net 3-0. The next goal was much the same in which axel o rock was on the reviving end and slotted home. Burrin seemed to get a second breath and asked a few questions of Hanovers defense but could not break them down. Just before the full time whistle Hanover where awarded a penalty in which Leon Fitzgerald caught it clean off the lace of his boot and placed it home.

Hanover Harps AFC 1 - 1 St Fiacc's AFC

The agony is with Hanover who were extremely wasteful in front of goal and could easily have reached double figures.

The Ecstasy was with St Fiaccs who only recently came together and dug in deep to keep the score line down.

Hanover had the lion's share of possession and constantly peppered the Fiaccs goal without finding the back of the net, Bobby Doyle believed he had opened the scoring when almost standing on the line headered the ball over the line but unbelievably the referee waved play on as Fiaccs cleared the ball away to safety. The first half ended 0-0.

Hanover continued to dominate and created chance after chance particularly when attacking down the wings and coming inside the fullbacks.

Eoin Myers eventually opened the scoring when showing nerves of steel controlled the ball with one foot turned sharply and finished with his other foot, a goal of quality. Hanover were hoping to push on and finish the game by scoring a second but were guilty of more poor finishing and when fiaccs came forward Hanover were guilty of giving away a couple of soft fouls. Patrick O Connor placed the ball about 5 yards outside of the box with the goal to his left and struck the ball in off the underside of the crossbar to level the game with a few minutes left. Hanover maintained their attacking football until the end but couldn't add to the solitary goal.

All players represented Fiaccs well with a special mention for Dan Corcoran in goal and Aiden Bradley playing centre back.

Hanover will be disappointed as a team but the new signings of Daniel Whelan and Bobby Doyle added to this talented group who will have better days ahead.

Two good sides meet on a sunny morning in St Annes pitch for the first league game. As expected from both these sides it was a great game from the kick off. St Annes showed some lovely passing of play but it was Hanover who was first to score with a mixed up in St Annes defence that should of cleared the ball but Sean Hayden was ready and hit the back of the net. St Annes had a lot of the ball but Hanover kept closing down all the shots Calum Mc Elroy hit the ball from a great pass from Seamus Lynch but it was saved from Hanover keeper. Aaron Cunningham Burke found the back of St Annes net from a cross kicked in and it went top conor. First half ended 2 0 to Hanover. St Annes came back out in the second half and pushed hard but all to no avail as Hanover kept their lines cleared. St Annes goal keeper Shane Baldwin made some great saves to deny Hanover anymore scores but Hanover clasped a last goal in the last play of the game from Aaron Cunningham Burke again where they caught St Annes on the break. Overall great game, both teams showed good passing and skills but it was Hanover to hit the back of the net and come out on top. Best for Hanover Ronan Sullivan,Jason Dillon,Cody Molloy and Dermot Lawlor. Best for St Annes was Sean Rowan,Shane Baldwin and Oisin Kelly.

Hanover set up a winner takes all encounter with Crettyard after ending Burrin's interest in this seasons U16 league. In what was always going to a tight affair chances were scarce in the first half, Celtic's Dylan McCann at centre back and Jack Curran in the goal dealing with anything Harps threw at them. Free kicks from Cillian McGrath and Ronan Quinlan, both saved by Curran the closest Hanover came in the first half. At the other end Jason Brennan dealt well with a series of Burrin corners just before the break. The second half saw a much improved Harps take to the field and within 10 minutes they had 3 glorious chances to open the scoring. Stephen Smyth was first up as his effort came back off the crossbar, a last ditch tackle in the six yard box halted Jack Dunne before a 20 yard drive from Dylan Doyle smashed off the upright. Just as it appeared that Celtic had weathered the storm Cillian MaGrath drove down the wing from left back and fired home from 25 yards to put Hanover ahead with 20 minutes left. Burrin did try to respond but with Kyle Foley, Daniel Rossiter and Mikee Horohan in mean mood they seldom looked like troubling the Harps goal despite the best efforts of Dylan McCann and Mark Canavan as Hanover held on for a vital 3 points thanks to the efforts of Jack Murphy, Jack Begley, Tyris O'Rock and Pablo Sanz.

Shortly afterwards TJ Brennan Brennan made a fantastic run up the left wing to give Jake Burke a through ball and he slotted home for a 2-0 leed. Vale applied the pressure by Alan Fitzgerald who took a shot and just skimmed past the post.

Second half started much the same Hanover never let up and great defensive work by vale kept Hanover at bay. It didn’t take long for TJ Brennan to break down the defence and put a ball through to Arda Destire who made it 3-0. Hanover Harps 7 v 1 New Oak

Hanover Harps took the 3 points after a strong performance in the plots this morning. It was a tight game at the beginning with New Oak almost taking the lead after a long ball into the box caused some confusion. Hanover went on to take the lead minutes later when Senan Ryan nipped in between two new oak defenders to finish after a good cross by Roland Sanni. Hanover went 2 up when Roland Sanni drilled a ball hard into the corner after a nice through ball by Ryan Fitzgerald. Riogan Doran made it 3 with a fine lob after running on to a long ball by Senan Ryan. 3-0 at half time. Hanover went 4-0 up shortly after the break when a cross field ball by Senan Ryan landed at the feet of Roland Sanni who volleyed emphatically to the roof of the net from over 20 yards out. New Oak got back into the game then when a corner kick broke to Jomilio El Salvador who finished well through a crowd of bodies. Hanover reacted quickly when a fine run and cross by Ryan Fitzgerald was volleyed to the net by Roland Sanni. Hanover then went 6-1 to the good with a carbon copy of the previous with the same two players involved. Ryan Fitzgerald then went on a mazy run at the end of which he finished coolly to the corner to make it 7-1.

A good squad performance from Hanover with Roland Sanni, Keelan Walker Burnett and Ryan Fitzgerald prominent.

Best for New Oak were Jayden Kelly, Shane Grant and Jomilio El Salvador

Due to a number of factors New Oak were forced to start with seven players. As expected Hanover dominated possession and knocked the ball around well and created an early chance for Brandon Kelly which was kept out by a combination of Lee Purcell and the post. Hanover kept pressing and Jack Begley found the top corner with a fine strike to open the scoring. Unfortunately an injury to a New Oak player meant the game had to finish up early to give the points to Hanover.

What a cracker of a game between two strong teams who are battling for the league title.

The game started as expected, with lots of pace end to end. Both teams created a number of chances, and both teams had the opportunity to go ahead before the break. But neither team were able to break th deadlock, with keeper Ruairc Murray making a magnificent save close to the end of the first half to keep the sides even.

The second half started with the same high tempo, and the league’s top goal scorer, Sean Murphy, managed to break through and kill the silence by hitting the net just a couple of minutes into the second half. Then Pat’s were denided the opportunity to go two a shed with a goal disallowed for off-side.

Then Hanover really began to pile on the pressure, and managed to bring the sides even twenty minutes into the second half.

Just when it seemed like a draw was going to be the end result, Hanover scored anther goal. It appeared that the ball had run over the line for a goal kick, however Hanover managed to slot the ball past the St Pat’s keeper, to make it 1:2 to the visitors at pretty much the last kick of the game.

A super game, with perhaps a few controversial decisions, nonetheless, Hanover come away with the three points to keep the league title chase alive.

No best players as a great performance by both teams.

Hanover were simply impossible to deal with this morning scoring 9. Damien Corrrigan with 2 along with Riogan Doran. Sean Ryan, Ryan Fitzgerald, Jamie Wlaker, Daire Dooley, Roland Sanni all chipping in with a goal each. A great all round team performance based on simple but effected football. Killeshin with some key players missing fought as hard as they could but to no avail, Zach Owens with the only shot on target in the second half. Jack Brennan put in some shift along with Tristan Owens but in the end the mountain was to high. Killeshin knew its was going to be tough against a well organised Hanover side and that it was.

This game started very even with both sides trying hard to get the opener. Some great defending by Lar Brennan and Scott Lawler. It wasn’t long though before Fiaccs were 1 up with a great pass by Filip Nykiel to setup Zak Hernan who slotted the ball away to make it 1-0. Not long after Zak Hernan made it 2-0 with a screamer of a shot to rattle the top of the Hanover net. Hanover did not give up and tried hard with some great defending. The game ended 8-0 with hatricks from Zak Hernan and Ruairi Mcevoy Hutton. One from Shayne Atkinson and one from Jan Flejszar. Best for Hanover Oran Delaney, Jack Keating & Rian Brennan. Hanover took the three points after a tough battle with Killeshin in The Plots on Saturday afternoon. The final score doesn't tell the story of a game that was tense and tight with no quarter asked or given. The game began with few chances as both teams fought hard to gain an advantage in midfield.

Killeshin almost took the lead after a corner when three goal attempts were brilliantly blocked by different Hanover players determined to keep their goal intact.

The home team began to get on top approaching half time and a tremendous Sam McHugh half volley came back out off the underside of the bar with the keeper beaten.Half time 0-0. The first goal was vital and Hanover got it when Lee Doran finished to the bottom corner from a knock down by Eoin Ryan.

The lead was doubled when Ronan Sullivan headed home a corner with twenty minutes to go.Eoin Ryan made the game safe when turning a couple of defenders in the box and firing home.Sam Mchugh got the goal his performance deserved with a good finish for number four before Ronan Sullivan had the final say with his second,a fine individual goal to make it 5-0.In the last minute with the points safe, Dylan Nolan ran 40 yards to win a ball which summed up a great team performance from 1 to 14 from Hanover. For a good Killeshin team, Eoin Pender and Danny Malone were best.

A brace from Dylan Doyle helped Harps to points in this local derby on Saturday. Hanover got off to a flying start, Brandon Kelly cutting in off the right before squaring for Doyle to slot home at the back post on 6 minutes. On 20 minutes it was 2-0, Doyle with his and Harps second. It took a brilliant save from Harps keeper Jason Brennan to keep our a blistering drive from New Oak's Pa Kavanagh shortly afterwards. Hanover put themselves in a commanding position 5 minutes before the break when Mikee Horohan crossed for Stephen Smyth to make it 3-0. Another assist from Horohan 10 minutes into the second half saw Brandon Kelly volley home from 8 yards to put the destination of the points beyond doubt.

To their credit New Oak kept plugging away and almost got a consolation goal from Kieran Nolan but his header from a corner went just wide. Hanover's best included Cillian McGrath, Ronan Quinlan, Daniel Rossiter and Harry Lloyd. New Oak's best performers were Ciaran Jones, Issac Emmanuelle and Adam Dalton.
