New Oak led at half time by 3 goals to nil. In the second half Vale came back in the game and pulled one back after a fine passing move involving 5 players which was finished by Mark FitzGerald.

New Oak scorers were Jack Lawlor 1, Ben Coakley 1, Josh O'Sullivan (3) and David Ujadelle (2)

New Oak bowed out of the cup after a pulsating cup tie. New Oak got off to a dream start When Keelan Lacey put them ahead after two minutes. Glenmuir got straight back in the game a minute later when a mix up in the New Oak defence allowed them to score. Both teams played some neat football creating some good chances, it was New Oak that struck next with Keelan Lacey scoring again after fifteen minutes. It was end to end stuff for the rest of the half with no further goals.

The second half was more of the same with both teams playing some lovely football. New Oak were given a great chance to increase their lead early on but the Glenmuir keeper saved the penalty. With time running out Glenmuir pushed all out for an equalizer which they got with ten minutes remaining.

With the game in extra time Glenmuir took the lead for the first time midway through the first period. New Oak did not take this lying down and Keelan Lacey completed his hatrick to level the tie again. With both teams tiring Glenmuir went back ahead early in the second period, but try as they might New Oak could not find a way back into the game.

Best for a disapointed New Oak were Adam Dooley Whealan, Harry Walker and Evan Ingram

New Oak Boys AFC 3 - 1 Forth Celtic

New Oak Boys advanced to the next round after a tough game on a lovely sunny saturday morning. New Oak started well and created a few good chances but failed to convert them. Forth Celtic were working hard and caused plenty of problems but it remained scoreless at the break.

The second half was only five minutes old when Adam Shaw put New Oak ahead when his free kick was deflected into the net. Forth Celtic came straight back into the game and won a penalty, which they converted two minutes later. Both teams then had spells before Evan McEvoy put New Oak ahead half way through the half. The match was still very much in the balance until five minutes to play when a lovely passing move put in Evan McEvoy who finished well.

Best for New Oak on the day were Jack Knowles, Adam Shaw and Adam Dalton.

Great credit to a very hard working Forth Celtic team.

Both teams had to settle for a point after this wonderful game of football. Parkville started the game strong and dominated possession but were unable to break down a stubborn New Oak defence. New Oak were restricted to playing on the break and but for some great goalkeeping by Paddy Doyle would have led at the break.

The second half was more evenly contested with both teams creating some good chances. At the midway point of the half Pa Kavanagh found himself through on goal and he gave New Oak the lead. It was end to end stuff now and with five minutes left Oisin Doyle levelled the game with a fine strike.

Best for New Oak were Pa Kavanagh, Ryan Kavanagh and Aaron Bolger.

Best for Parkville were Ronan Healy and Tadgh Foley.

This was a must win game for both sides at The Valley in challenging windy conditions. New Oak started the brighter but it was the Burrin Boys who scored first from a Kevin Murphy free kick but was deemed to be off-side. This left the sides all square at the half. New Oak pushed on in the second and got the opening when the ball broke from the back line and was finished by Ben Doorley. Keelan Lacey got the second with a super strike just outside the box. The Burrin Boys rallied and pulled one back with a goal from Jake Hickey with ten minutes to go and had a lot of late chances but couldn't find the equaliser.

Best for Burrin were Eoin Hosey, D.J. Sinnott and Liam McGuill.

Best for New Oak were Jamie Doorley and Harry Walker.

On a cold wet Saturday morning St fiaccs and New Oak were meeting for the second time in this competition. The odds were in favour of new oak as their last meeting saw them win comfortabley. St Fiaccs were looking very depleted fielding a bare 9 players. both teams applied pressure from the off. St Fiaccs created a few chances but great credit to the new oak keeper who made some good saves. Just before half time kieran Nolan Put the away team in front. The second half got underway and fiaccs upped their anti and were rewarded with a goal from Jack Byrne. New Oak quickly responded through Kieran Nolan making it 2-1 in favour of the visitors. The fiaccs team regrouped and got straight down to work after some great team work Jack Byrne dribbled the ball across the pitch and found the New Oak Net. the teams were level again. New oak made changes and pressed hard but the teams had to Make do with a share of the points. Well done to both teams who provided a very entertaining game for the supporters.

Best for fiaccs was Terry French and Mate KESZTHELYI.

Best for New Oak was Corey Walker, Ryan Kavanagh and Jack Feehan.

New Oak started off the game and were 0-3 in the space of ten mins. St Joseph's tried hard but they couldn't get through New Oak's defence. And found themselves 0-4 at the break. HT 0-4. St Joseph's came out in the second half and tried their best to keep New Oak out, St Joseph's backline pulled off some great saves. But New Oak scored 0-5, and scored five more. Before St Joseph's got a corner James Hayden took it really well and found Ruairi Scully to head it home1-10. New oak had a corner of their and the final score was an own goal to make the final score1-11. F-T 1-11.

New Oak started well and after some good build up play Dinny Farrell put them ahead on five minutes. New Oak continued to attack but Vale always looked dangerous on the break. Twenty minutes in, good pressing by Keelan Lacey presented him with the chance to make it two nil. Ten minutes later Vale got a well deserved goal when Cormac Lomax headed in at the back post.

Five minutes into the second half Robert Purcell extended New Oaks lead. Evan Ingram then made it four and with ten minutes remaining a Ben Doorley header sealed the win for New Oak.

Best for New Oak were Laz Meaney, Harry Walker and Cian Cleary. Best for Vale were Ronan Curran, Luke Bradley, Adam Kearney and Cormac Lomax.

Some lovely passing football early on put Pa Kavanagh in the clear and he made no mistake to put New Oak ahead. Killeshin levelled the match five minutes later when Daniel McGrath headed home a corner. Five minutes later Jack Feehan broke from midfield and finished well to put New Oak back ahead. Two minutes later Corey Walker added a third from a corner, and thats the way it stayed until half time.

The second half continued the same with both teams attacking and creating chances and fifteen minutes in Kieran Nolan scored a fourth for New Oak. Killeshin were always a threat with Evan Dowling very dangerous on the break and with time running out Jack Knowles scored the goal of the game to make it five for New Oak.

Best for New Oak were Lee Purcell, Aaron Dempsey and Alex Brennan. Best for Killeshin were Daniel McGrath, Evan Dowling and Jack Dowling.

This game was played out in windy but generally good conditions in St Pats The Meadows, There was a bright opening with the 2 teams trying to get a grip on the game especially around the middle of the park. St Pats opened the scoring from a penalty by Jamie Murphy after the best passing of the match for St Pats. New Oak quickly responded to leave the teams level at half time from a goal by Brenda Doyle. St Pats started the second half the better and after Jamie Murphy scoring what turned out to be the winner into the corner of the New Oak net left St Pats the victors at the final whistle .

Best For St Pats were Evan Connolly, Mathew Gleeson and Conor Kelly

New Oak came out on top in this very entertaining game, both teams were very evenly matched and chances were hard to come by. Twenty minutes in Kieran Nolan managed to find some space and finished well to give New Oak the lead.

The second half was much the same with Fiaccs pressing for an equalizer and New Oak using the space at the back to play on the counter. New Oaks defence were in great form but only a great save by Aaron Bolger in the New Oak goal kept them ahead. With five minutes remaining a New Oak counter attack paid dividends when Jack Feehan finished well to secure the points for New Oak.

Best for St. Fiaccs were Marte O Brien, Szyron Noworocnir and Kian Doyle.

It was an excellent all round team performance from New Oak.

New Oak were thankful to get out of this game with maximum points after a tough game against a hard working Hanover team. New Oak took the lead on ten minutes after some good work by Cian Cleary set up Keelan Lacey to score. Aidan Lillis then headed a second five minutes later from a Jamie Doorley free kick. Hanover did not let their heads drop and they grew into the game and were unlucky not to pull a goal back when they hit the post.

Hanover continued to press in the second half but they were unlucky to come up against a New Oak defence determined not to concede and there were few chances in the second half.

Best for New Oak were Laz Meaney, Adam Dooley Whealan and Robert Purcell.

Best for Hanover were Adam Nolan, Aarron Byrne and Dylan Delaney.

Both teams started this game with a high tempo and attacking intent but in the early stages both defences were on top. Griffin Kennedy gave Parkville the lead on eighteen minutes with a strike from distance. This seemed to give Parkville a big lift and they started to dominate the posession and win all the second balls. TJ Kavanagh headed a second for Parkville on the half hour.

To their credit New Oak came out strong in the second half and tried to find a way back into the game but on fifteen minutes Cathal Murray scored a third for Parkville. Parkville were now in control of the game and Conor Doyle added a fourth with time running out.

Best for Parkville were Sean Day, Conor Doyle and TJ. Kavanagh.

New Oak were happy to get out of this game with maximum points after a very tough encounter. Playing with the aid of a strong wind in the first half New Oak started well and Harry Walker fired them ahead after five minutes. Pats did not let this affect them and they played some lovely football and worked really hard to restrict New Oak to limited opportunities for the rest of the half.

With the wind in their backs now Pats started the second half well and created some good chances but found New Oak keeper William Rogers in good form. As the half wore on Pats pushed forward in search of an equalizer which allowed New Oak space on the break, and with fifteen minutes left Keelan Lacey found that space and finished well to give New Oak breathing space. Pats continued to press but despite a very good team performance it wasn't to be their day.

Best for New Oak were William Rogers, Laz Meaney and Harry Walker.

New Oak and Burrin both came out with attacking intent in this game with both creating early chances that they failed to convert. The game continued end to end and with five minutes of the half remaining great work by Kieran Nolan set up Corey Walker to open the scoring.

In the second half Burrin started well and put New Oak under pressure but could not find a way past a determined New Oak defence. Burrin continued to dominate but while pushing for an equalizer they were hit on the break with Kieran Nolan scoring a brilliant solo goal.

Best for New Oak were Aaron Bolger, Pa Kavanagh and Jack Feehan.

Best for Burrin were Sean McHugh, Conor Ruane and Cillian O Neill.

With five minutes of the half remaining New Oak put together a lovely passing move with resulted in Ben Doorley finishing well to put New Oak back ahead.

With the wind now in their backs New Oak started the second half strong and some more crisp passing set up Ben Doorley for his second. Keelan Lacey then added the fourth after some good work by Dinny Farrell. Burrin never dropped their heads and always looked dangerous on the break. With ten minutes to play Jamie Doorley scored the fifth with a shot from distance.

Best for New Oak were Cian Cleary, Dinny Farrell and man of the match Keelan Lacey.

The first match back for both teams started brightly with an open game. Tom Wight coming to the rescue for St. Anne's. New Oak got the break through and kicked on. St. Anne's were brave and got it to 3-1 at half time. Howevver, New Oak showed their class and 2 early goals in second half killed the game. It finished 12-1. Ben Doorley and Kealan Lacey both got hatricks. Evan Ingram, Dinny Farrell and Aidan Lillis with 2 each. William Rogers, Podge Manning, Robert Purcell and Keane Clearey were best for New Oak. While Eoin Shanahan, Jamie Ward and Sam Strutt best for St.Annes with the goal coming from Ian Shsnahan.

Played in mucky conditions, the first match of the year both teams started off well. Pressure was put on at both ends but it was a goal from Corey Walker after 11 minutes gave New Oak the lead. Nurney tried to respond but Ryan Kavanagh after 21 minutes scored the second. New Oak came out strongest in the second half and punished the Nurney defending slotting 2 quick goals. Although Nurney tried - New Oak went on to score 5 more goals.

Best for Nurney: Conor Meaney, Adam Farrell, Rachel O'Brien, Laura Cummins and Darragh Cummins
