Parkville vs St.Josephs
U15 Div 2 15/01 10:00
Parkville United AFC 1 - 1 St Joseph's AFC

Parkville hosted St.Joseph’s at Hawkins Lane. Both teams had their defences well organised as attacks were in changed for the first 20 minutes with out any keeper really being tested. It took a mistake by the Parkville defence to allow Corey Ryan for the visitors to open the scores on 24 minutes. The first half finished 0-1 in the same fashion.

Second half was much the same with both teams playing very conservatively in defence. The visitors were unlucky not to make it 0-2 with a free kick stricking the crossbar mid way through the second half. Parkville drew 1-1 when St.Joseph’s failed to clear a corner with Jack Byrne netting from close range.

1-1 was the final score. A fair result.

Best for St. Joseph’s were Johnny Scully, Jack Keaton, Luke Campion and Ray McNamara.

A great team performance from Parkville.

A very enjoyable match in Hawkins Lane today with a draw a fair result in the end.The home side started the brightest with Maria Healey and Adrian Plonka being denied by good goalkeeping and solid defending from St Pats. The visitors grew into the game and made the breakthrough thanks to a great strike from no 10 Arsene. It was all St Pats from then until the break and they doubled their lead, again Arsene on the mark. Parkville regrouped at the break and came out flying in the second half creating several chances but not able to convert. The pressure finally paid off half way through the half when Maria Healey finished off a good move from Adrian Plonka. With time running out Parkville levelled matters thanks to Adrian Plonka. Both sides had chances to win but both keepers were on form with Luke Denton making a fine late save for the Tullow side. Best for St Pats were Thomas Lawlor, Marcin Plaka, Summer Doorley and Darragh McDarby. Best for Parkville were Angie May Doran, Adrian Plonka Luke Monaghan and Tadg Nolan.

Parkville vs Nurney
U15 Div 2 08/01 10:00
Parkville United AFC 6 - 0 Nurney Villa AFC

Cold wet and windy morning in Hawkins Lane as

Nurney travel to Parkville. The away team played the game with only 10 players, so they were up against it from the get go. It didn’t take Parkville too long to get on the board with Adam Cleary scoring from close range after 5 mins. Dean Keogh made it 2-0 to the home team after 20 minutes, and that’s how it stayed for the first half as Nurney put in a serious defensive display.

Second half saw Parkville pull away with Cian Kinsella scoring 2, on 40 and 45 minutes into the second half. Adam Cleary would complete a Hattrick with Ben Shannon scoring 1 more.

The final score was not a true representation of the game. Nurney did cause problems for Parkville with Tom Kalleward in goal forced to make a few good saves.

A great team performance from Nurney Villas 10 men. Best for Nurney were Callum Kavanagh, David Barron and AJ Dooley.

Good team performance from Parkville with Luke O’Brien, Eoghan O’Sullivan and Cian Kinsella standing out.

Baltinglass confirmed their position as league leaders with this win in Hawkins Lane. They started strongly but met fierce resistance from Parkville. Aidan Danker and Cormac Clifford were outstanding in defence and Miley Walker patrolling midfield. The home side then turned on the style with good attacks down the wings by Maria Healey, Tadg Nolan and Molly Haugh. However it was the visitors who scored just before half time through Josh Furlong. They doubled their lead straight after the break Conor O Toole with a great strike from the edge of the box. Parkville doubled their efforts with great work from Luke Monaghan and Robbie Knight and were rewarded with a goal from Maria Healey. Despite more late pressure they ran out of time and Baltinglass left with 3 precious points. It was another great team display for the visitors. Best for Parkville were Kate Byrne, Alex Sunderland and Ryan Lin.

A Late Corcoran Brace Earns Slaney Full Points

Slaney Rovers AFC 5 - 3 Parkville United AFC
On a bitter day in Rathvilly, the first -half was an even-enough game, with Slaney opening the scoring from a Lee Fanning free-kick on 16 minutes. The visitors responded with a close-range finish from Cian Kinsella to leave it 1-1 half-time. After the break, great combination play between Daragh Corcoran and Dylan Byrne with the latter finishing well for 2-1. Daragh Corcoran was also involved in Slaney`s third goal when he was upended for a penalty which Connor Dooly blasted home from the spot for 3-1. Adam Clancy and Ben Shannon reduced the arrears with fine efforts to reward a good team performance from the visitors but a late well-taken brace from Darragh Corcoran earned Slaney all three points full points. Slaney was well served by Oisin Reardan, Sean Barrett and `keeper Bryce Gardiner.

Parkville United AFC 3 - 2 Killeshin AFC

A classic game of two halves in a cold and windy Hawkins Lane this morning with the home team just shading it. Killeshin started strongly and went ahead after seven minutes when Parkville failed to deal with a corner and no 9 James Mcgann finished to the net. The away side were 2 up half way through the half thanks to a brilliant strike from no 8 Ciara Milton. Parkville had a few chances which went wide and it was 2 nil at the break. The home team got a breakthrough just after half time when they were awarded a penalty and Luke Mcgrath stuck it away. Parkville pushed on after that and were soon level thanks to a great strike from Luke Mcgrath. With the aid of the wind the home team kept up the pressure but Killeshin seemed to have weathered the storm when with time almost up Maria Healey scored a volley to put the Tullow team in front. However there was more late drama when Killeshin were awarded a penalty but the kick went just wide and the home side held on to win. A great team display by Killeshin with Cara English outstanding. Best for Parkville were Tawana Mudwapi, Theo Mcdonald and Cormac Clifford.

A thoroughly enjoyable encounter in Hawkins Lane this morning with a late goal giving St Joseph's a deserved point. They started the brightest and took a deserved lead when No 11 Daniel Byrne headed home from a corner. This shook the home side into action and Joeys goalie was very fast of his line to make a few good saves. However Parkville kept plugging away and a lovely move down the left hand side set up Adrian Plonka who levelled matters with a sweet strike. Parkville. kept the pressure on but it stayed 1 . 1 at half time. The second half was end to end an half way through Parkville went in front thanks to a brilliant strike from a very tight angle by Tadg Nolan. St Joseph's then piled on the pressure to equalize and Luke Denton in the Parkville goal made some great saves to tkeep the home team in front. With time almost up that man Daniel Byrne popped up to break Parkville hearts and earn his side a point . A great game with St Joseph's putting in a great team performance. Best for Parkville were Theo Mcdonald, Maria Healey , Cormac Clifford and Angie May Doran.

Ballymurphy Celtic 3 - 8 Parkville United AFC

Ballymurphy 3 - 8 Parkville

Parkville proved too strong for a gallant Bally side this morning.

Parkville swept into an early two goal lead inside 15 mins and controlled affairs. Bally finally woke up and pulled a goal back through an Adam Joyce penalty on 22 mins. However Parkville rattled another home before the break to leave it 1-3 at HT.

Bally tried to get back into the game in the second half and left holes at the back/ Parkville capitalised and went 1-4 up on 44 mins before a comeback was threatened when Lucais Doherty and a Noel Jordan strike put the minimum between them with 15 mins left. However, Parkville then went into top gear and three late goals killed the game as a contest and left a well deserved victory for the Tullow outfit.

Best for Bally were Toby Joyce and Darragh Coleman.

Best for Parkville, Bradley Cummins and Darragh Kehoe

New Oak manager made 4 changes in the second half and we didn’t have to wait long for effects. One of the subs score two goal Sebastian Furtak and other one Bartosz Teczar.
