Both teams played out a very exciting game on Saturday morning. It was Parkville who started the strongest of the two and broke the deadlock through a fine finish by Parkville striker Adrian Plonka. The next 10 to 15 minutes St Joseph's piled on the pressure and were relentless with their approach to score but Parkville defended well and caught St Joseph's on the counter late in the 2nd half through a brilliant goal by Tawana Mudawapi. The 2nd half was mostly St Joseph's as they showed great courage and weren't gonna be beating easy on the day and eventually pulled one back by a finish inside the box by Daniel Byrne. The game went back and forth until late on when Adrian Plonka once again dribbled through on goal to claim his second goal of the day and a beautiful finish which helped Parkville claim the 3 points. Top players for Parkville were Adrian Plonka, Phoenix Mullins and Tawana Mudawapi. Top players from St Joseph’s were Alex McGrath, Evan Farrell and Jack McDonald.

Bagenalstown welcomed st Joseph's to the mgrath park today .the game was evenly contested in the first half with both James brennan and Danny travers making great runs and troubling the away side. Joey's created afew chances of there own with Walter Webb getting in behind only to be found offside. Bagenalstown came close to breaking the deadlock when Sean Darcy found himself unmarked just inside the box but couldn't keep his shot down half time 0-0. Bagenalstown started the second half much stronger and enjoyed plenty of possession early on after several half chances aodhan hickey managed to find the net after great work from tj Ahmed. Joey's faught back and pressed Forward but bagenalstowns defence were hard to break down. Tj Ahmed was a real problem for the visitors he looked dangerous every time he got the ball and it was he who added bagenalstowns second. Joey's came back into it after that and started causing bagenalstown a few problems. John Lillis got free down the right and hit 1 from 40 yards only to be denied by the crossbar. Joey's eventually got rewarded for all there hard work when they scored a cracker from outside the box. Bagenalstown held on for a deserved victory. Joey's worked very hard and showed great spirit

St.Anne’s were quickest out of the blocks when Myles Nelligan won a free kick , Joseph’s keeper couldn’t hold and Mark Hickey headed home 1-0. 5 minutes later another Myles free kick palmed back out and contested by Jamie Reardon and poked home by Mark for his second goal. Second half saw St.Joseph’s pile on the pressure and the ST.Anne’s defense held strong with a couple of good saves from Mark Kennedy in goal. 15 minutes left and Myles Nelligan hit a 20 yard shot to the back of the net. Finished 3-0 to St.Anne’s. Best for Anne’s was Myles Nelligan, Jake Kelly and man of the match Mark Hickey.

Joeys were left regreting a final missed opportunity

That saw the ball headed over the bar from close range.

On balance of play Celtic fully deserving the win with some

Hanover Harps was ruthless today against St Joseph’s in a very one sided game.1st goal came in the 3rd minute by Angelo Cunningham quickly followed by a goal by Joe Dermody in the 7th min. Hanover where relentless and got their 3rd in the 23rd min by Tire Adeleye. The second half was a repeat of the first half . Hanover attacking the St Joseph’s goal Tire Adeleye getting his second in the 38th min which was followed a minute later by a goal from Ross Geoghegan and the last Hanover goal came in the 46th min scored by Levi Osaro to round off a 6-0 win for the home team. Most outstanding player for Hanover was Tire adeleye

Hanover welcome St Josephs to The Plots for a 11:15 kick off the game started well with both teams playing some great soccer but it was Hanover who took the lead with a lovely free kick taken by Alex o rock who put it in the back of the net. St Joseph applyed a lot of pressure but the Harps defence stood strong and keep joey to bay. Hanover got a corner and axel o rock crossed the ball to find the head of Sean Hayden who put it pass the keeper Hanover 2 another goal from geal o rock came sortly befor half time when he headed a ball from a cross of tj brennan to make the harps 3 halftime

St Joseph started the half the better team but couldn’t get throw the defence of Hanover who stood strong. On the 50 min a long ball from John Corcoran saw the left foot of tj brennan who volleyed home a well taken goal Hanover 4 . Hanover got into the game and started to play some great soccer and were awarded 4 more goals which came from geal o rock Sean Hayden axel o rock befor the full time whistle full time whistle

St Joseph's welcomed Nurney to Mcardle's cross today for this local Derby, St Joseph's started the better and had the run of the chances, Daniel Byrne, and Donnacha Moran we're full of running and we're putting the Nurney Defence under pressure, Cillian Mc Ateer and Dán Kehoe we're very trick pushing forward from Midfield, however Nurney Goalkeeper Noah Doyle was on top form and kept them at bay, half time 0-0. Second half say Nurney improve and become more of a threat going forward, ten minutes in they were rewarded when Conor Salmon slotted home, St Joseph's fought hard for the equilizer and Nurney caught them on the counter attack to make it 2-0 with Adam Janus finishing past the advancing keeper, Max Duignan pulled one back to set up a fantastic last ten minutes, Joeys had a second ruled out for offside, Nurney finished off the Game when a Joeys Defender turned the ball into his own goal from a corner, Final Score 1-3

Best for St Joseph's, Alex Mc Grath, Evan Farrell and Conall Doyle, best for Nurney, noah Doyle(GK), Conal Dermody and Cian merchant

St Joseph’s AFC welcomed Crettyard AFC at McCardles cross this morning. The game began with great play from both teams and it took till the 30th minute for James Keating to find the back of Joeys net after a drop ball was awarded to Crettyard. The score remained 1-0 at half time. The second half began with great pressure from both sides, 10 mins in Mikey Byrne from St Joseph’s was awarded a penalty which resulted in a goal from Walter Webb making it 1-1. The match continued with great football, Crettyard scored their second goal from a super free kick taken by Seamus Lynch into the top corner of Joeys net. St Joseph’s continued to pile on the pressure but the Crettyard defence were a match for them. Final score 2-1

Despite the loss St Joseph’s squad was strengthened by the return of some injured players.

Best for Crettyard were Fionan Brennan, Bobby Rohan and Daniel Lawlor.

Best for St Joseph’s were Zac Nolan, Jamie Doyle, Cathal Purcell and Walter Webb.

A good end to end game was played out in Tinryland this morning. Nurney settled the quicker and took a deserved lead from Natialia Detra after Christopher Salmon played a great pass. St Joseph’s started to play some nice football and Philip Adamansk nipped into to draw the teams level. Just before half-time Eli Fleming put Nurney back in front. The second half was and end to end affair with st Joseph’s pushing for an equaliser but Nurney held firm. Best for Nurney were Christopher Salmon and Arron O Brien while Noah Doyle made some great saves. Best for St Joseph’s were Niall Fennelly Alex Reid and Shay Ryan.

Hawkins lane was the venue for Parkville vs St Josephs today. St Josephs started the better team with a lot of possession around the midfield. Their possession nearly paid off in the 15min when good play down Parkvilles left flank resulted in them shooting inches wide. That woke Parkville up an for the remainder of the half it was all Parkville with chances coming from Joe Smithers ,Ryan Jennings and Oliwia Zaborniak going close.

The 2nd half continued with Parkville dominating the ball and more pressure on St Josephs backline. Some good play from Parkvilles Cody Doyle set up Joe Smithers to shoot and forced St Josephs keeper to make a good save, resulting in a corner. Ryan Jennings crossed it in to find Dara Murphy who buried the ball in the goal to put the home side 1up.

St Josephs started to pass the ball well after this and with some good play down there right found Alex Reid who rifled a shot home to make it 1-1.

St Josephs were on top then and with some scrappy play from the home side St Josephs were awarded a free kick. Dan keogh took the free and from long range scored to make it 2-1 and that is how it finished.

Best for the home side were Odhran Byrne,Cody Doyle Denis Fitzgerald and Dara Murphy..

St Pats started the first 20 minutes very strong and were 1-0 up when David Mcdonald got on the end of a great cross to head it home. Pats soon went 2-0 up when Kacper Zarzycki slotted home after some great play. Joseph's then started to get into the game winning the battle in midfield. The first half ended 2-0.

The second half Pats started very strong with Warrith Oyeniyi scoring 2 more goals. Zak Hernan scored a brilliant long range shot to make it 5 -0 to Pats. Callum Murphy O Brien also got on the score sheet after scoring 2 very good goals. Joseph's never gave up and got their rewards with a ball over the top and slotted home by the Joseph's striker to make the final score 8-1 to Pats. All the Joseph's team play well. Best for Pats were player of the game Dawid Jarmakow. Zak Hernan & Callum Murphy O Brien.

new Oak were the visitors to Tinryland this morning. This was a scrappy but very Evenly matched affair, both teams played some great football in the first half and defencively both held out well, New Oak got a corner midway through the half and the ball was headed home from the resulting corner, Joeys continued to press hard but found New Oak defence hard to break down. New oak lead 1-0 at half time.

The second half was much the same as the first with some evenly contested battles all over the pitch, as the game wore on, and both teams still pushing for goals, New Oak were awarded a penalty. Callum Quigley slotted home at the second attempt, with the keeper adjusted to have stepped off his line for the first kick.A great game of soccer ended St Joseph's AFC 0-2 New Oak. Best for New oak were Hugh Collins, Brian Lee Murphy and Michael Myk. Best for Joeys Jake Whelan, Alex Reid and Shay Ryan. A notible mention to the Ref who had an excellent match Encouraging these kids to play football

A bright sunny morning in Tinryland as the home team, St Josephs hosted Burrin Celtic, KO 10am.

After some great play from both teams Burrin Celtic pulled away with a goal on the back of some skilful play. St Joseph's rose to this challenge and scored a great goal off the boot of Mikey Byrne to equalise the match. St Joseph's goal keeper, Ryan Gordan made some magnificent saves rounding off a very strong performance from the home team.

St Joseph's were so unluckily and conceded a goal, bringing the score to 2 - 1.

A great game of football from two equally matched teams.

Best for St Joseph's Cathal Purcell, Jamie Doyle and Mikey Byrne.
