In the first half the two teams traded chances at either end of the pitch. Alex Mc Donagh in the St Anne's goal was kept busy and Robert Moore, Cian Dunne and Joey Walsh in defence kept their team in the game. It wasn't until the end of the first half when St Anne's Con Murray assisted Mackenzie Mc Ivor who put the ball in the back of the St Pats net. At half time it was 1 nil to St Anne's. Game on.

In the second half St Anne's came out the stronger and the St Pats defence was put under pressure. Shane Comfort, Cian O'Gorman, Adam Dunne and Cian O'Brien in the St Pats defence were great.
