Ballymurphy 1 - 4 Killeshin FC

A very harsh scoreline on the home side who were well in this game until the final ten minutes.

Bally had the first chance when a Noah Fitzpatrick free kick was nearly turned home by James Scallan on ten mins. Killeshin then made it 1 nil on 14 mins and followed up with a second on 23 mins. Ballymurphy pulled one back just before the break when Noah Fitzpatrick was fouled in the box and rifled home the resulting penalty from the spot. HT 1-2

Into the second half and Killeshin were awarded an early penalty but Ballymurphys net minder Callum Kelly stood tall and saved the spot kick. Ballymurphy dominated proceedings for a long period after this but just couldn't score.. Faye Doyle was denied with a goal line clearance while Conor Walshs shot was blocked with a last gasp tackle on 52 mins..then on 56 Killeshin caught them on the break and made it 3-1 and added a fourth with the last kick.

Best for Bally were Joshua Salway, Sean Dalton and John Joyce

Ballymurphy Celtic 2 - 1 Hanover Harps AFC

Ballymurphy Celtic 2-1 Hanover Harps

Ballymurphy edged this tight but excellent game of football this morning under the Blackstairs.

Both teams started well and it took 15 mins for the first shot in anger when Keane Murphy just shot over from 20 yards, Ballymurphy piled on the pressure thereafter and got their reward when Dean Foleys shot was parried by the New Oak keeper and Oisin Fogarty was on hand to slide home the rebound. Bally should have made it two nil on 24 but Shane Jordans free kick was brilliantly saved again. Hanover finally got into the game and scored with their first attack just before the break when a lapse in the Bally defence saw Diarmuid Redmond set up Shay O Grady for the equaliser. HT 1-1

The second half started cagey again from both sides but it was Ballymurphy who took a foothold and bombarded the Hanover goal forcing numerous corners and free kicks before finally an Oisin Fogarty corner was turned home by James Flood with ten minutes to go. After that Ballymurphy sat back and tried to hold their lead and with two minutes to go a break from Hanover was halted on the edge of the box. From the resulting free kick Ballymurphy goal keeper made a outstanding save to give all three points to the home side..

An excellent game of football all round with two very evenly matched teams.

Best for Ballymurphy were Dean Foley, Oisin Fogarty and Dylan King.

It was an all round team performance from Harps with every player giving their all.

It was another successful day for Parkville in Hawkins Lane this morning against Ballymurphy.

Tomas Doran got the homeside off to a great start in the 13th min after some good passing between Noel Butler and Cody Doyle. Doran added his second 4mins later with a lovely assist from Tymek Plonka. Ballamurphy defence stayed firm with pressure from the home team and their hard work was rewarded with a goal to leave it 2-1 at the break.

The teams were evenly matched for the first quarter of the second half with both teams producing good chances. Good passing between Will Myers an Johnny Kelly down Parkvilles right led to a well taken strike from Alfie Haberlin Brennan. Parkvilles confidence seemed to lift after that and Paudi Connolly added their 4th assisted by some good play from Keelan Bolger. Bobby Cullen added the 5th in the 52nd min with a great strike from distance. Flood then stepped up to the mark and with a trade mark dribble beat three defenders before slotting the ball home from close range on 28 mins.
