Ballymurphy had their first attempt on goal in the opening 2 minutes but after that Killeshin began to dominate.On 5 minutes Jack Milton put Michael Dooley in on goal but his effort was blocked.Milton crossed a pin point ball to the back post on 8 minutes but Callum Haydens connection saw the ball loop over the bar.Michael Dooley became provider in the 10th minute for Adam Farrell but the Ballymurphy keeper made a good save.On 12 minutes Farrell and Dooley combined again but again the Visiting keeper got his angles right to deny Dooley. Killeshin were playing some attractive football with combinations down the left between Zach Owens, Michael Dooley and Jack Milton causing the Bally defence all sorts of problems. Killian McCutcheon and Sean Dowling were running the show in midfield and on 22 minutes Dowling picked out Jack Milton just inside the box to neatly finish and give the Home side a deserved lead.On 25 minutes Zach Owens linked up with Michael Dooley,whose cross found Callum Hayden again at the back stick but his effort went over the bar.A minute later Ballymurphy threatened over the top but Ben Fitzgerald made the necessary save to deny an equaliser.Killeshin remained on top and on the half hour mark Michael Dooley found Killian McCutcheon in the box but the Ballymurphy keeper again saved when a second goal looked likely. On 35 minutes Jack Milton was fouled about 35 yards out on the right wing and Sean Dowling rifled the resulting free kick off the crossbar.

Killeshin started the second half smartly and won a corner in the 41st minute. The resulting corner led to a penalty being awarded and Sean Dowling stepped up to give Killeshin a two goal advantage. Ballymurphy were awarded a free kick in a dangerous position on 47 minutes and Ben Fitzgerald made a comfortable save.In the 51st minute Jack Milton played in Adam Farrell and the Ballymurphy keeper again made a fine save.The rear gaurd of Patrick Fitzgerald, Tristan Owens and Evan Askins were dominant in their defending but as the wind started to favour the visitors a continuous stream of deep balls came in to test their resilience.Locklan Smith put a cross come shot in from the right in the 57th minute which caught the Killeshin keeper off gaurd and gave Ballymurphy a lifeline. Ballymurphy pushed for an equaliser for the next couple of minutes but Killeshin rode the storm and we're back on the offensive in the last quarter.On 62 minutes Jack Milton bore down on goal but was denied by the Keeper again.A minute later Adam Farrell got through but foiled by the Keeper once again.On 67 minutes Harry Gordon's cross gave Farrell another chance inside the box but he dragged his effort wide on this occasion.With 10 minutes remaining Michael Dooley broke down the right, shot low to the corner but the Keeper saved with an out stretched leg.The resulting corner was met by a Jack Milton header however the Ballymurphy net minder was again in great form to stop at close range. Killeshin were dispossessed just outside their own box but the Ballymurphy striker blasted his shot high and wide with 74 minutes on the clock.Michael Dooley was released by Sean Dowling with 2 minutes remaining but the visitors keeper again frustrated Killeshin with a fine save.

Killeshin will take the well deserved win today with a Great Team Performance.

Best for Ballymurphy were Jack Foley and Sean Treacy in the Goal.
