New Oak dominated the first 15 minutes of the first half but failed to make their chances pay off. Shane McCaffrey in the Burrin net put in a man of the match performance to give Burrin the win. Burrin slowly started to get into the game and played some brilliant football in parts but new oak were always a threat. Burrin were a much improved team in the second half and got a well deserved goal, when Robbie Kelliher scored directly from a free kick. New oak threw everything at the burrin back line but a very strong and solid defensive performance gave burrin all three point. Man of the match was Burrin keeper Shane McCaffrey but also excellent on the day were Daire Nolan, Jack Cantwell and Callum Butler. Best for New Oak were Jamie Dooley, Cian Hyland and Siobhan Sinnott.
