On a very breezy day in Ballon, both teams struggled against the wind and found it hard to play football at times. St Annes had most of the possession in the opening few minutes and burrin struggled to get the ball out of their half. There was some chances for both teams in the first half but neither could score. The second half was much better and was mostly dominated by Burrin, scoring three goals in 10 minutes and looking very comfortable on and off the ball. Bobby Finn got two great goals with both feet and Robbie Kelliher got the third for Burrin. St Annes scored a consolation goal to make it 3-1 a few minutes before the end. Best for the home team were Zach Bolger, Callum Butler, Jack Cantwell and Colm Donald. Scoring the St Annes goal was Orran Langton and was one of the best players along with Tiarnan O Donohue and Michael Hanrahan.
